Who is the Stöckli Montero AR suitable for?

The Stöckli Montero AR is a sporty all-mountain ski for ambitious skiers who enjoy medium to large turns on groomed slopes but also like to venture off piste. It combines the playful versatility of the Montero range with the smoothness and stability of a giant slalom ski.

With its 84 mm waist, the Montero AR is an excellent choice for skiers looking for a sporty ski for varied days on the mountain. It is designed for fast descents on groomed slopes as well as skiing away from the prepared piste, providing a broad range of use between on-piste and off-piste skiing.

Handling characteristics

The Montero AR is designed for medium to large turns and higher speeds. Its particular strength is the combination of excellent stability, a smooth ride and sporty handling. Even at higher speeds, the ski remains calm and controlled.

The Tip and Tail Flex technology with cut-in aluminium provides precise turn initiation while combining agility with stability. The All Mountain Rocker increases the versatility of the ski and makes it easier to handle when skiing away from groomed slopes.

With its 84 mm waist, the Montero AR offers greater versatility than a traditional piste ski while retaining its sporty character on groomed slopes. It is therefore an excellent choice for skiers who enjoy carving but do not want to limit themselves to prepared pistes.

The Stöckli Montero AR 2026/27 features a Sandwich System construction with an All Mountain Core made from Poplar Light and Beech. The construction combines Tip and Tail Flex, Solid Metal Edge Light, Adaptive Contact Length, Full Edge Contact, Tail Rocker and All Mountain Rocker. The ski features a Polyamid topsheet and Racing-Graphite base.
